INTD 1001 - Interior Design Studio I Credits: 4
An introduction to the elements and principles of design, the interior design profession, and the interior design problem solving process. The Interior Design Studio atmosphere is a working, explorative and hands-on academic design, and research studio. Lectures will begin with certain assignments while students also produce work for a given project. Individual and group critiques will take place per project. Students are also expected to work independently in preparation for interaction and discussion with the studio Professor. Students are expected to be prepared for each class with the assignments, handouts, books, sketchbooks, architectural scale and drawing materials in hand for reference and use.
Prerequisite: ARCH 1005 or permission of Interior Design Coordinator Previous IND* 101
